Cabinet & Secretariat
Hi! My name is Taylor Chay, and I’m thrilled to be Poly MUN’s Co-President for the 2026-2027 school year! I attended my first conference in eighth grade (the one and only BunnyMUN) and have enjoyed MUN ever since. Now, as a senior, I'm looking forward to serving my second year as president. Throughout my five years of MUN, I’ve gained more knowledge about our world, grown in confidence, and built cherished friendships. Hence, I’m honored to help lead a club that has done so much for me! As Co-President with Alaina, we are responsible for running meetings and representing our club, but most importantly, supporting our members. Besides MUN, I’m Co-President of our school’s UNICEF club and Co-Editor-in-Chief of our school newspaper. Outside of school, I enjoy traveling, trying new foods with my friends, listening to music (my favorite artist is Lana Del Rey!), baking, and journaling. I’m so excited for another amazing year!

Taylor Chay
Co-President
Hello! My name is Abigail Hall and I am honored to serve as ⅓ of our club’s Secretaries-General. I’m currently a senior, but have loved MUN since my very first middle school room at Jackrabbit MUN V. Our MUN program has always held a special place in my heart, not only for the insights I’ve gained about the forces that shape our world, but also for its supportive and passionate community. Given that, I hope our conferences empower you to find your voice and embrace collaboration as you work together to solve society’s problems. As one of the Secretaries-General, I am tasked with the planning and logistics of our club’s major conferences, along with managing all the club members who participate in its preparation. At Poly, I play on the Girls’ Varsity Golf team, and am co-president of Poly’s Moot Court Club and the Jackrabbits Act Now service club. Outside of school, I love to make art and read, particularly books about anthropology and other social sciences. I wish you all the best, and I’m thrilled for another amazing year of MUN!

Annali Bojorquez
Secretary General
Hi everyone! My name is Annali Bojorquez and I am honored to serve as one of the Poly Model United Nations’s Co-Secretary Generals. I joined MUN when I was a sophomore, and it has become not only one of my favorite extracurriculars but a community I am so proud to be a part of. Besides Model UN I love to read (my favorite books are the Alchemist and the Hobbit) and write, and I am a Youth Poet Laureate Ambassador for my city. I am Co-President of UNICEF (with my fellow Secretary General Don and our MUN president Taylor), Secretary for FLA and for Climbing Club, Treasurer for International Snacks, and President of California Students for Justice. I am so excited to help run Poly’s conferences this year, and honored to be working alongside Abigail, Don, Taylor, Alaina, and the rest of our amazing cabinet and secretariat!
Hello everyone, my name is Don Tran and I have been made fortunate enough to serve you as one of Poly Model UN’s Co-Secretary Generals for the 2026-27 school year. I’m currently a high school senior at Polytechnic High School and I’ve been doing MUN here for the last four years. In that time, MUN has become such a beloved community for me and has allowed me so much growth both academically and as a person. As such, I feel honored to be able to pass this lovely experience onto others and maintain it for the future. As a Co-Secretary General, Annali, Abigail, and I are responsible for managing all aspects of Poly’s hosted conferences and all important club decisions. Aside from MUN, I’m Co-President of UNICEF and VIce President of Choir. Outside of school you can find me cooking or making music. I look forward to another productive year!

Kieran Lundy
Director General
Hey, my name is Kieran Lundy, and I am honored to serve as Poly Model UN’s Director General this year. This will be my third year in MUN, and in that time, I’ve gleaned quite a bit from the program—especially regarding the power of putting yourself out there. Sincerity and friendliness can go a long way in committee, and yet further still outside of debate. In the DG role, I’ll handle a majority of our program’s outside communications with delegates and advisors, meaning you’ll likely hear a lot from me. Beyond MUN, I’m a Youth Poet Ambassador of Long Beach, captain of our Boys’ Lacrosse Team, President of Pickleball Club, and Vice President of Moot Court. I also enjoy snowboarding, reading, listening to music (Pink Floyd, Zep, Neil Young, and Pearl Jam are among my favorites), and watching films. I look forward to another amazing year of Poly MUN!
Hi! My name is Sohl Vadecha, and I am so excited to be Poly MUN’s Vice President for the 2026–2027 school year! I am a junior in the PACE program here at Poly, and I have been fortunate enough to be a part of MUN since my freshman year. Through the program, I have learned so much about public speaking, debate, confidence, writing, and research. As Vice President, I am responsible for helping oversee our conferences, supporting our cabinet and delegates, and working to make sure everyone feels prepared and included throughout the MUN experience. Outside of MUN, I am on the varsity basketball team, a captain of varsity cross country, a Long Beach Poly International Ambassador, and a freelance journalist for the562.org! In my free time, I love going to the beach, listening to music (About You by The 1975 is my current favorite song), reading, and spending time with friends. I’m looking forward to another amazing year of MUN!

Sela Hacegaba
Under Secretary of General Assembly
Hi! My name is Sela Hacegaba and I’m a senior here at Poly, and I’m so excited to serve as Undersecretary of General Assembly this year! In this role, I help oversee our General Assembly (GA) committees and support our daises while preparing for our local conferences, Bunny MUN and Jackrabbit MUN. Being a part of the MUN program and community these past few years has inspired me to embrace learning and step out of my comfort zone, in so many ways. It has illuminated the importance of collaborating with others, exploring different perspectives, and building a deeper understanding of the world around us, while also creating friendships and making memories along the way! In addition to MUN, I’m also a member of Poly’s Vocal Jazz and Chamber Choir, and I love to read, craft, crochet, travel, and play piano in my free time. Looking forward to a wonderful year and please don’t hesitate to reach out, whenever!
Hi! My name is Gabby Gales and I’m your Under-Secretary of Specialized Committees. I’m a Senior and I’ve been in MUN for 4 years so far, and this is my second year as a part of the secretariat! Throughout my experience doing conferences I’ve had both ups and downs but at the end of the day, I get to meet new people, expand my knowledge of real world events, and improve my public speaking skills. I enjoy doing research and getting to discuss the things I find, so MUN was definitely a good choice for me! As Under Secretary of Specialized Committees this year, I’ll be overseeing all of the Specialized committees for the conferences we host as well as assisting the Secretary Generals, Crisis Directors, and the Undersecretary General of the General Assembly. Aside from MUN, I’m also in UNICEF, Book Bunnies, the official Poly newspaper staff as Co-Editor in Chief, and I’m captain of the Varsity Girls Golf team. Outside of school I do volunteer coaching alongside various other fundraisers and volunteer work opportunities through the nonprofits I’m a part of outside of school. At home, I’m usually starting a new show or trying out a new hobby, and I’m really starting to enjoy finding new activities to take up my time and help me get off my phone! I can’t wait to see what the 2026-27 school year has in store for our program, see you at JackrabbitMUN!

Eamon Overman
Co-Crisis Director
Hello! I’m Eamon Overman, one of your two crisis directors for the 2026 - 2027 season. I’ve been doing crisis staff since my freshman year and have been participating in MUN conferences since my sophomore year. This will be my second year as a Crisis Director, and I am excited to use my experience to foster interesting and challenging discussions during the committees we host. I am currently a senior in Poly PACE. MUN is a great environment to grow and practice public speaking, research, and debate skills, and of the possibilities in MUN, I find crisis rooms to be the most fun and engaging. I am excited to try to continue that trend for the coming year. Outside of Model UN, I’m a senior member of the Robotics club at Poly and a runner on the cross country team. Outside of Poly, I enjoy creative hobbies like woodworking and blacksmithing. I hope that in the coming year I can show you that crisis is the best way to experience MUN, in the backroom or as a delegate.
Hello! My name is Valmik Pandya, this is my second year in the Poly Model UN program and I am so excited to be your co-Crisis Director along with Eamon Overman for the 2026-27 school year. I am a senior and although my MUN experience is shorter than my fellow cabinet members I confidently say I have been sucked into the extensive and fulfilling research that MUN has to offer; MUN has given me not only a new way of looking at the world but has given me a new semblance of direction in life. While MUN is amazing, the people are even better. My fellow cabinet members are smart, amazing, and friendly people and I am so proud to be serving with them. Outside of MUN I am an avid mountaineer, hiker, and climber. I am Co-President of MLA, Vice President of Climbing Club, Co-Founder of AP Peppers, Vice President of Cal Youth and Government Model Legislature and Court, and a member of book club, moot court, and UNICEF. I am looking forward to an amazing year!

Elliot Rice Epstein
Parliamentarian
Hi! My name is Elliot Rice Epstein (no relation), a senior here at Long Beach Poly, and I’m serving as the Parliamentarian for Model UN for the 2026-2027 school year. Contact me with any questions about Model UN; it’s literally my job to respond, so I won’t leave you hanging. I started as a delegate at BunnyMUN I in my eighth grade year; since then, I’ve chaired and staffed several conferences at Poly, and attended a couple as a delegate as well. Outside of MUN, I play violin in ensembles at Poly and beyond, serving on the Orchestra Council as the librarian! In my free time, I can be found reading (The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy is a personal favorite), watching tennis, and playing board games. Looking forward to an amazingly splendidly wonderful year of joy, glorious exultation, and Model UN!
Hi! My name is Julissa Pulido, and my role in Long Beach Polytechnic’s Model United Nations is working as a co-secretary alongside Ray. I’ve been in MUN since my Sophomore year and am entering into my second year as a Senior. Although I’ve only been in MUN for two years its been life-changing: I gained self confidence, awareness, and became education with international policies. Being able to enter into a conference and debate on international topics with other students has been mind-opening because each of us brings in different perspectives that lead to a resolution. As Secretary, I aspire to become a leader to support my fellow peers, members, and other delegates I get to meet soon! Besides MUN, I am President of Alcohol Youth Awareness, French Club, and part of Speech and Debate. However, outside of my extracurriculars, I love going to the movie theaters, going out with my friends, investing in self-care, and listening to Michael Jackson, Prince, Sam Cooke, Marvin Gaye, Ozzy Osbourne, and Ariana Grande. I am super stoked to be part of the MUN team this year and create new memories for future conferences!

Julissa Pulido
Co-Secretary

Hello! My name is Ray Fierro, and I’m your co-secretary along with Julissa. I’m currently a Junior in the CIC program, and this is my second year doing Model United Nations. Last year, as my first year in MUN, I was able to learn various valuable skills such as public speaking and research, and got to the opportunity to go on the travel trip to NYC. Outside of MUN, I participate as stage crew outside of poly, playing guitar and learning other instruments. I’m so excited for this year in MUN and hope to meet you all!
Ray Fierro
Co-Secretary
Hello! I am Amira Inui, and I am so privileged to hold the position as co-treasurer with my friend and peer Brianna. I have been a participant in Model United Nations for 6 years, and I am a junior participating my first year in the Model United Nations class offered at Poly. MUN started off as a means of growing comfortable presenting research and practicing diplomacy, however, it has grown into a passion of mine to work together with delegates to form resolutions to very real-world issues on today's global stage. Beyond Model United Nations, I am president of Coastal Compassion, vice president of speech and debate, and an active participant as an RSVP student board member for LBUSD. Outside of school, however, I enjoy drawing and doodling caricatures and people from shows I watch, and I have an extreme hyper obsession with Naruto, my favorite childhood show. I'm so excited for this opportunity and can’t wait to meet all of you who participated in Long Beach Poly MUN events

In my free time, I love going out with friends, crocheting, listening to music (my favorite song is Warm Ways by Fleetwood Mac), and reading. In my free time, I enjoy reading (The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Water for Elephants, and Remarkably Bright Creatures are favourites), watching as many movies as humanly possible (It's not possible to see every movie ever made, but it's definitely a personal dream of mine), comic books, spending time with my dog and rabbits, watching lots of television (any Doctor Who Fans?
