Russian-Ukrainian Conflict

CRISIS COMMITTEE

It is May of 2019, and Russia and Ukraine appear to be on the brink of war.  Since the annexation of Crimea in 2014, interactions between the two countries have become increasingly hostile.  Incidents such as the downing of a Malaysian Airlines jet, the rise of a separatist movement in Eastern Ukraine, and the 2018 Russian capture of naval vessels in the Kerch Strait have increased tensions to a boiling point. Delegates will represent presidents, prime ministers, and generals at a UN sponsored  negotiation.  Can compromise be found, will all sides be appeased, or is it just too late?
