Africa Climate Summit

According to the UN, Africa accounts for only 2-3% of global carbon emissions, but is also the continent most affected by global warming. For many state governments hindered by debt and other economic issues, climate conscious infrastructure is an afterthought, rather than a priority. The Africa Climate Summit (ACS) is a specialized body solely focused on mitigating and solving the climate crisis in Africa, uniquely composed of government representatives, youth advocates, the private sector, and civil society. Delegates have the chance to represent a variety of stakeholders, debate economic and technological solutions, and form an agenda that protects the interests of Africa in the face of a changing climate.
