IMO: Building Sustainable Supply Chains

In a culture of increasing consumerism, global supply chains have become the backbone of the world economy, responsible for everything from the smallest pencil to the biggest car. However, this means that even the slightest disruption in supply chains has disastrous, cascading economic effects. In the wake of major wars and a pandemic that significantly upset supply chains, causing worldwide inflation and financial ruin, delegates in this committee will be responsible for building more resilient supply chains. From shipping to ports to postal systems, delegates will have to work together to fix the many avenues of global transportation and trade in pursuit of a more prosperous future.
